SCHOOL TESTIMONIES
Student at Bluestone Middle School:
"I really enjoyed your show. I liked it when
you said, I can be what ever I want to be, but I’ve
got to earn it".
University
of Virginia (Letter From Director of Marketing):
“The University of Virginia Athletic Department
would like to thank you for performing on November
30th. The crowd’s response was amazing, and the
feedback we have received has been nothing but positive.
In addition, we appreciate you signing so many autographs
after your performance. I did not realize you were
surrounded for the entire second half. The kids
loved getting the chance tomeet you and I appreciate
your cooperation. I hope in the future we can arrange
to have you again in University Hall.”
The Kellogg
Foundation Expert in Residence Program (Freemont
School):
“Mr. Lee’s positive attitude, with the focus of
committing to a message of believing in yourself
and working diligently over possible long years
to reach a goal is frequently little understood
by our young people today. Our students were impressed
enough by Buddy Lee to sit with attention for an
hour. Normally they would become restless after
40 minutes. That speaks to Mr. Lee’s ability to
relate to young people. His athletic skills in rope
jumping are unbelievable. He maintained good control
of this audience so that they could better listen
to what he wanted them to understand. Some guest
speakers find keeping attention more difficult.
It would be my
hope that more such modeling and messages be delivered
on a regular basis to our youth (and even outweigh)
the negative television programs and daily observations
to which our children are exposed. Again, we express
appreciation to the Kellogg Foundation for bringing
Buddy Lee to Fremont School”.
Fairfield Middle
School (Letter From The Principal):
“Your Skip Into Fitness Program certainly dazzled
Fairfield Middle School. Your national fame is to
be commended and acknowledged for its impact on
our students. Sharing your accomplishments encourages
youth to aspire to higher levels of achievement.
Our students were encouraged, entertained and enthralled
by your performance. Never give up, skip into fitness,
and don’t quit what you start were valuable concepts
received by the audience.
We currently have
over 250 students registered for our Buddy’s Jumping
Buddies Club. Rope jumping is a great way to communicate
the value of physical activity to young people.
It is educational, good exercise and great fun.
Participants will learn about the lifelong benefits
of physical activity. It is evident that your commitment
to fitness breeds enthusiasm at Fairfield Middle
School. We truly appreciate your concern and support
in assisting us to initiate our club. I wish for
you continued success as you impact your message
around the world”.
Coles Elementary
School (Letter From The Principal):
“The students, parents and staff at Coles elementary
School want to thank you for your wonderful motivational
program “Skip Into Fitness”. Your very important
message “Believe in yourself, stay focused in life
and work hard to attain your goals” was presented
in an enthusiastic and skillful manner. We will
highly recommend you to other schools and organizations”.
